I do like that saying especially as it comes from one of the world's most famous scientists, a profession not exactly known for its use of imagination.
The teaching profession here in the UK could also take some tips from that saying too. I have always thought school should be more about freeing children's imagination rather than learning from textbooks to pass exams.
A very cool quote. I agree with Brad about teaching kids. I home school and the curriculum I use isn't always about book work.
My son can't learn from sitting down and reading or having a book read to him. It's more active imagination learning and he does very well with it. This can apply to so many professions also, especially doctors.
People aren't always cut and dry like the book says. The doctors need to use their imagination more when it comes to patients and using our imagination makes life more interesting!

Logic helps us sort out potential problems, but in terms of learning children definitely learn better and take more in through creative play, imagination and other techniques which we cannot always source from a book.

Our emotions and imagination play a big part in our lives and should. Logic is fine, but it will only take us so far.
