  1. Well, I think this is rather a good quote for me as all of my 'plans' when I was younger went straight out of the window and those plans would have made me a very different person to who I am now.

    I'm not sure we can become the person we might have been, as we can't turn the clock back, but we can certainly become the best version of who we are now.

    1. Thanks. Yes, I can see why you would think that, but with work on ourselves we can become the person we want to be.

      It would be good for our plans to work out and to a certain degree our plans do shape us, but a lot of how we are is down to beliefs, not down to plans.

      I agree with you that we can always become a better version of ourselves, if there are things we feel we must do better with.

      My disability has shaped the person I have become, not my success. Success is just one element of that, but it's not the whole and as long as we stay grounded, success shouldn't change who we are.
