This quote is so true; I always try to be honest. For me if I'm not it bothers me. So for the sake of being comfortable with myself, I am honest and sometimes to a fault.
You're absolutely right. Honesty is the catalyst for a peaceful life and without it, we will always struggle.
I'm not sure how many of us really understand the correlation, though because I think if we did, we would do something about it. After all, who wouldn't want to strive to have piece in their lives?

Ditto on your thoughts. Yes it would bother me too. Thanks Maria.

I can't live in peace if I am not honest. In the past, I have been asked to lie for someone's sake and I have refused.
Unfortunately, i had to deal with their disappointment because I didn't do so. It's better that than not being honest.

I experience peace of mind when I'm honest with my feelings about something. Honest is freedom and relief.
It absolutely is. Thanks Tim.
Absolutely agree.
Thanks Lisa.
