“Self discovery is the most empowering time of your life, you remember who you are and you become the best version of yourself but what they forget to tell you is, to get to a point of pleasure you must face the pain.”

    1. Hi Jimmy, and welcome to the site. Thank you so much. It really means a lot to know that my reflections on The CP Diary are connecting with you. I’ve always believed there’s real power in showing up as we are.

I’m especially touched knowing you’ve read Cerebral Palsy: 'A Story' Finding the Calm After the Storm. From one cerebral palsy warrior to another, you will understand how difficult it is to write about it, let alone deal with it. For me, it was a matter of piecing something I didn't know I had together. But finding the words isn't easy, because difference is very much part of what we get to deal with.

Writing the book has been a difficult and a personal process – hearing how it speaks to others is incredibly humbling. Thanks again for being part of this space and for walking alongside me in these conversations.

      Your words truly lift me.
