  1. There are people who will fight change when change isn't in their favour as I have found out recently.

Trying to extricate myself from a highly toxic relationship has been extremely difficult, as the other person doesn't want things to change, even though it will be the best for both of us.

I'm going to have to end up making changes, since that's what's best for me even though the other person won't be very happy about it.

    1. Thanks Randy. Yes you said it. 'I'm going to have to end up making changes since that's what is best for me.'

That is exactly right Randy and needs to happen. The sad thing is that the more we conform to other people's lives and what they want, the more we fail to live our own lives for ourselves.

I've been there too. It took me many years to wake up, but once I did, I never looked back. You won't too, but you must make that choice.

    1. I'm glad also. It helps to have an eagle eye that way you can prepare for change when it comes.

I struggle to work through change through Autism. I've always struggled with a new environment and new people, but never understand why until now.

I don't have a problem with the concept of change. It also takes me a while to adjust and work through change.

Things have to look right for them to feel right.

  2. It must be harder for you because you have Autism.

All change, even a change for the better, is always accompanied by drawbacks and discomforts and its antagonists, but there is no progress without change.

    1. Thanks. Yes, it is enormously difficult because I also deal with anxiety, because I have Autism.

Not all change will have drawbacks, but it's made easier for those who have confidence to believe in themselves and change.

I agree with you when you say, 'there is no progress without change.' There is also no spiritual and emotional growth. They all go hand in hand.
