Thanks Tim. I'm so pleased you have. As you have seen, when we come to 'feel the fear' we come to learn that the other side of fear isn't always as scary as we think.
We tend to either 'run away' from life or put life on hold, too afraid to move forward. The sad reality is that by the time we've come to realise that is what we're doing, we've either been left behind by other people, or we've lost out on some of those opportunities.
I do believe though, it's never too late to change.
I sometimes think how nice it would be to live on a desert island detached from reality and how peaceful that existence would be, but I also believe that we take ourselves with us wherever we go.
In order to find peace we have to engage with ourselves and that isn't dependent on where we are, but who we are. So for me this quote is very true.
Thanks, yes I absolutely love your last paragraph. This is exactly how we must learn to play it.
We avoid getting in touch with ourselves, so we don't have to think about or deal with our issues. I have to say, this quote is absolutely true and right on the money!
Finding peace is to accept that life is not all happiness.
It's better to live every aspect of life; and possibly get hurt in the process than to live absent by letting life pass us.
You're absolutely right. I couldn't agree more. Thanks Maria!
This quote is true in every sense of the word. If we engaged life a little more we'd be less apprehensive about ordinary things.
I've been rewarded with a little peace by conquering some of my fears and by jumping into uncharted waters.

Life is a complicated series of events. Good mixed with bad and we have to find a balance and peace where we can.
It's not all roses and rainbows but we can live a good life if we confront our problems.
You're absolutely right and couldn't agree more. Thanks Maria.
