Something inspirational:

“There are two types of seeds in the mind: those that create anger, fear, frustration, jealousy, hatred and those that create love, compassion, equanimity and joy. Spirituality is germination and sprouting of the second group and transforming the first group.”

  1. I have been working more on the spiritual aspect. I've had more than enough of dealing with the dark side and the nightmare that it creates within me.

People don't have a clue as to what it's like having to battle with your own mind, when you want to do the right thing, but you're not always able to.

I grew up in a very dark world, so that was my normal, but it has taken a long time to get used to the idea of living in the light.

Maybe someday that will become my normal and I can enjoy my life like everyone else seems to be able to do, so easily.

    1. Thanks Randy. The spiritual aspect is good. I understand what you say about growing up with your mind battling itself. I have had that too. I still do. It's no consolation that I know why. It's still hard.

I love the fact that you continue to try and you're not a quitter. The more you are able to simplify your life and live the way you want to live, the more you will be able to work on and embrace being spiritual.

Being spiritual certainly does pave the way for a more peaceful mind and life. It's something I continue to work on.
