  1. Gossip flows freely enough without giving people something to gossip about. That's way I make it a point to reveal just enough to be present but not invisible.

It's the mystery that keeps you relevant sometimes.

    1. Thanks Tim. I agree, absolutely. I also think it helps to be mysterious. It not only keeps us relevant as you suggest, but keeps people interested too.

  2. You have to give only so much information. Then you keep the mystery going; it holds true for movie stars and for every day people too. Keeps us relevant and everyone loves a mystery.

    1. Thanks Maria. I agree. Yes we become more intriguing to the other person, the less they know about us, the more they want to know and will usually stop at nothing until they do.

  3. I like this quote. It reminds of the saying that it is better to keep your mouth shut and let people guess if you are an idiot, than to open it and confirm it.

    1. Thanks. Yes I remember the quote, but whether we open our mouths or not, there would be no reason for anyone to think we're an idiot, unless they already think we are.

Unfortunately we seem to be preoccupied with forming an opinion about people too soon, regardless of what we say and how we say it.
