Food for thought:
“The world is round, and the place which may seem like the end may also be only the beginning.”
IVY BAKER PRIEST
An ending can feel like a loss, particularly when we cannot see what lies beyond it. When plans fall apart, opportunities disappear, or a chapter closes, it is natural to focus on what we have lost.
Sometimes, closed doors lead us towards new paths, greater clarity or renewed purpose. But not every ending leads to something better, and not every loss comes with a reason or a happy outcome.
Moving forward can simply mean learning to live with what has happened, while recognising that life can still hold meaning beyond it. An ending does not have to be the end of us.
Even when circumstances cannot be changed, there can still be another way forward, and another part of our story still to be lived.
