Something inspirational:

"Be still. It takes no effort to be still; it is utterly simple. When your mind is still, you have no name, you have no past, you have no relationships; you have no country; you have no spiritual attainment; you have no lack of spiritual attainment. There is just the presence of beingness with itself."

  1. What a great saying and a good idea to take time out from our hectic lives just to 'be still' for a few moments.

It's bit like siting on the lawn and staring at the stars. It stops time; clears your head and helps you think.

We should all be still every now and again!

    1. I think many of us can Justin. Quiet time is very important for spiritual growth. I try to do it as often as I can. Welcome to the site.

  2. Quiet time is a great time for spiritual growth. It's times like that, that God speaks to me. It's when I'm quiet and listen for his words.

    1. We all find out what works for us in terms of our beliefs and what brings us the most peace.

I am pleased you've found what works for you.
