With 1 day to go to the publication of my second book, 'Spirituality, Healing and Me' the 2nd January 2020 and the 16th September 2021 will be forever etched in my mind, because my books have become a turning point and a changed life.

A changed life

Writing about my life, about my disability and bringing my story to life, has brought about a different thinking from me. Getting to know 'me' has been a revelation. It is because I have autism that mental health is still something I continue to grapple with, made easier through writing about it.

In my early life, it was impossible for me to understand how my thoughts made me physically feel about what I had to deal with. As a child, mental health wasn’t on the radar. In fact, it is only when we look back on our life that we may look at our reactions, what we had to deal with and understand mental health a little more.

I write about mental health

I write about mental health on my blog, because living with a disability I didn't know I had, left me susceptible to mental health issues. Mental health needs to matter, because it affects each of us. It is the backbone to just about everything. Without good mental health, it is difficult to stay physically well.

We all have to want to act

My goal isn’t for me to get someone else to feel, I can't do that, but if I can get someone else to want to act on that want, then I will have achieved greatly.

That goal starts in my first Book Cerebral Palsy: A Story 'Finding the Calm After the Storm.' My second book, Spirituality, Healing and Me’ is my spiritual and healing journey, based on universal principles that can help each of us.

As I take myself by the hand, I take my readers by the hand also, showing them that we can think about and perceive our lives differently, no matter our starting point. For the price of '2 coffees' you can have two books that can help you change the way you think about and perceive your life.

My books deal with mental health and mental health issues. You can grab paperback and Kindle copies on Amazon, or through the following link https://linktr.ee/Ilana_Estelle

  1. Looking forward to book launch day. Everyone can benefit from your unique writing so let's get those pre-orders in now, to benefit from this amazing book.

    1. Thanks. I believe so, because I know what's gone into the book and how it will help us. Hopefully my readers will respond, support me and give either book a go.

These are unprecedented and difficult times. Cerebral Palsy 'A Story' and 'Spirituality, Healing and Me' are both perfect reads for any time, but particularly for now, in such unprecedented times.
