I’ve always had something to deal with, so my circumstances changing again shortly, will be nothing new to me. The thought that one day I will lose another parent, isn't scaring me. My father will be where he wants to be and that's okay. Throughout this process I’ve always thought like this and I feel fine about it. When we work through someone's terminal illness, we have time to come to terms with it. It's only a matter of time now.
Thinking of you. I've been there and am there now with my mom. Glad you are doing well with everything.
Thanks Lisa and for your encouragement.
When my mother was dying all I wanted was for her pain and suffering to end. She had gone through a terrible year.
It not only affected her but the rest of the family greatly. When she finally did pass, we knew she was at last at peace. It was over and our lives would change in ways no one would imagine.
I hope your family finally find some closure when he is gone.
Thanks Randy. I agree.
So sorry that you have to go through this, but it does sound like you're doing what you need to do to keep yourself healthy through all this!
I think it's a lot different when you have time to prepare for it and go through the grieving process beforehand.
Hope you have a better week.
Thanks Randy. You're absolutely right the process is slightly easier this way.
