Clarity is an understanding we achieve about something we previously failed to understand. It is what we create for ourselves. But to have complete clarity, we must avoid other potential thoughts that can veer us off course. It also doesn’t matter if we don’t have clarity straight away, as long as we actively work towards it.

Achieving clarity is difficult when you're dealing with emotional issues, or you're feeling tired or drained in some way. Life can run smoothly with everything working out as planned, you meet a dip in the road, you lose focus and you need to rethink.

But we must continue to deal with life and all that life throws at us, and that can be difficult sometimes. When we are mentally tired we have less clarity. To have peace of mind we need clarity. Keeping an open mind on our issues and accepting we can change our thoughts can work that we don’t have to stay where we are.

Being able to understand and see other people’s point of view also brings about clarity. It also very much depends on other people’s approach and how they interact with us and what their intentions are. It is our understanding that brings about clarity. Taking out all the non-important things we’re stressing about helps.

When we deal with things individually we can have clarity, because we focus on that one thing. With clarity, our mind can be at peace, centred and balanced. Whichever way we turn, it’s important we feel calm and in control.

Through clarity we may bring solutions and conclusions to some of the issues we have to deal with, but we need to actively take steps to make it happen. As with most things, clarity is a work in progress.

  1. I rarely have clarity.

I get so wrapped up in everyday and others problems I can't get time for myself to think. But when I do all seems right and calming.

    1. I understand you totally Lisa. I am sure we have a little bit of that depending on what we have to deal with.

I take the view that if it's my problem to deal with, then I deal with it as swiftly as I can to bring about the right conclusion. If it's not my problem, someone else is just giving me their problem, I try and help if that is what's needed or give them the problem back. I certainly don't carry it. It's not for me to carry!

Pleased that when you do have time to think, all seems right and calming.

  2. I agree with what you wrote about the importance of clarity.

When dealing with things that you can't seem to get off your mind it often takes more than simply wanting it, acknowledgement and awareness.

Action is required too but often it's the most difficult part that many don't complete.

    1. Ditto. Totally agree with you. I am sure your last paragraph will resonate with the many people who struggle to take action and you're right that needs to happen.
