We all have challenges to deal with. Ultimately, life challenges can be tough, but they can also be transformative. They force us to grow and learn and become better versions of ourselves.

Mental health is affected by a range of factors

Overall, mental health is affected by a range of factors, including life experiences, genes, upbringing and environment. It also depends on how supported and equipped we are to deal with life's challenges.

The CP Diary, aims to support mental health by providing helpful material, but attitudes towards mental health are a barrier to improvement. My blog has a significant readership, but relies on goodwill for support. Life experiences, genes, our upbringing and environment affect mental health and can change how we think and feel and then respond to situations.

The CP Diary stats

From the site achieving in excess of 82,000 hits a year, it has become obvious that through political influences, less and less people are tapping into their mental health, even though there is plenty of material on The CP Diary that can help to kick start mental health.

At the end of the day, challenges will always come our way, but it's how we choose to respond to them that makes all the difference. We can choose to let them defeat us, or we can choose to grow and learn from them and come out stronger on the other side.

I choose the latter.
