As I continue to write about Covid-19 on my blog, I am giving us a voice, not to forget, but to be aware there are still people in the pandemic who need protecting.
The virus isn't gone
The virus isn't gone, but I appreciate and respect there are people in our communities who are still high risk and vulnerable to Covid-19. I have no choice in what has happened, and I am unable to move forward myself, but as I continue to write, I am reminded that we should be careful and not to forget about others.
We all need protecting
I appreciate that 2 years in and people are wanting to get back into their lives. They’re done with wanting to hear, or to have to think about the pandemic. I would love not to have to think about the pandemic also, but I am aware that I still need protecting, for us to wear masks, also appreciating and respecting other people's opinions.
People are still impacted in Covid-19
But where others have a voice, I have lost mine. Like everyone, I have no choice in what has happened, but I am once again impacted. I am struggling at the ignorance, but until my situation changes. Lifting restrictions, has made me more restricted.
Why and how it was allowed to happen in the way it has, isn’t right. We are all good people. But right now, I am trying to come to terms with being four-walled. I am not lying down, but accepting it is what I have to deal with for now.

Thank you for giving us a voice. It's ridiculous that people are acting like the pandemic is over, when that's anything but the case.
It's insulting to the people who don't have any choice, but to do what they need to do to avoid the virus. I have noticed so many people not wearing masks anymore, while I still continue to wear mine, no matter what.
It would be great if it was safe to travel again, since I would really like to meet you but God only knows when that is actually going to happen!
Thanks Randy. Yes, I continue to wear mine too. I also wear a visor, but that's me being extra cautious. But you can't be too careful.
While governments aren't pushing the point about the virus (and they're not) the initiatives need to come from us. I am pleased you're doing what's right.
We're being told there are new virus' that we will have to deal with. For the sake of a mask, I don't get it.
