Something inspirational:

“Those who make compassion an essential part of their lives find the joy of life. Kindness deepens the spirit and produces rewards that cannot be completely explained in words. It is an experience more powerful than words. To become acquainted with kindness one must be prepared to learn new things and feel new feelings. Kindness is more than a philosophy of the mind. It is a philosophy of the spirit.”

  1. I like that quote. I cant say I'm the most compassionate person in the world, an understatement... but I'm trying harder.

  2. I'm finding it very hard to find any joy in life right now, but that's really nothing new in my world.

I've just spent so many years barely existing that it's no wonder that I feel this way. I guess the most I can do is at least try to see the good in the world instead of focusing on the bad.

I'm hoping and praying that I'll be able to change those feelings very soon!

    1. It's so important to be able to change the way we think and feel. I understand you completely, but perhaps now is the time to change what you're struggling with.

I'm sure that as long as you continue, there is no reason why you won't do it, you'll find a way. Unfortunately we tend to hold on to all that is negative and that is what holds us back in the longer term.

That is something we should all think about and try to change.

  3. I believe I have compassion (maybe too much sometimes!) but I have deep empathy for others and always want to help out anyway I can.

    1. They are both good attributes to have, but I believe that sometimes when we're under stress, it's harder to implement it.

I agree it's very important to help others out in any way we can.
