“Life appears to me too short to be spent in nursing animosity or registering wrongs.”

  1. Life is to short to be doing this. We should live our lives to the fullest, show our love to our loved ones and appreciate everyday we wake up.

Don't count the wrongs or dwell on the past. Tomorrow may not come. We should live each day as if it's our last.

  2. Life is indeed too short to harbour grudges and to be self-absorbed in that and other negativity.

Life is also too short not to follow your dreams. Every day should be treasured and enjoyed for life is indeed precious. I was also deeply saddened to hear of the untimely death of Robin Williams. May he rest in peace.

  3. Far too short! I've wasted a good part of my life hanging on to resentments and hating myself which hasn't harmed anyone else except for me. I really don't want to end up being the one in the nursing home who is bitter and miserable because of all the things they didn't do in their life!

I'm guessing Robin Williams was feeling that way and he chose to end his suffering for which I can't really blame him. People will question why he did this, but from my own experiences I can truly understand why.

    1. Yes life is far too short, particularly when we hear such bad news like Robin Williams' untimely death. No one has no idea what someone goes through, so I'm not sure anyone would be in a position to comment.

It often takes a death for us to understand and re-evaluate our own life and where perhaps we can make changes ourselves. I understand why Robin Williams took his life. It's not for us to form an opinion or judgment on his actions. I am sure given the fact that he had a wife and children, this will have been the last thing he would have wanted to do.

He clearly wasn't coping with his life. It's a shame the help he got wasn't enough.

  4. I agree with this quote. We spend way too much time entertaining the negative and far too little time smelling the roses.

Robin Williams may not have been coping with his life, but I'm sure he found peace in death.

    1. I agree. I believe We often come to realise, or it seems that we only realise when it's too late to change our circumstances.

      Thanks Tim.
