Something inspirational:

“It is impossible to live without failing at something, unless you live so cautiously that you might as well not have lived at all - in which case, you fail by default.”

  1. I agree with this. Everybody fails at something in their lifetime. I don't know anyone that hasn't; but we shouldn't go through life feeling like a failure.

It's only human to fail. If you try not to fail you don't enjoy life. We learn through our failures.

  2. I've lived the majority of my life with the overwhelming feeling of why even bother trying, since it seemed like it was easier not to even try.

My fears, doubts and insecurities ruled my life to the point where I was afraid to even consider succeeding. I grew up in a world where it didn't seem to matter either way.

I'm only hoping that I can be brave enough to at least try accomplishing something in my life so I don't end up feeling like it was a complete waste after all!

    1. Thanks Randy. I understand your frustrations. Those were mine too for some of my life, but I do believe we learn some of our biggest lessons from the obstacles we have to face along the way.

We cannot change our childhood but we can change how we deal with and live as the adult. It's never a waste. There is always some time for us to turn things around.
