An individual’s response to present events is based on their mental state. In the pandemic, individually we've all had a lot to cope with that has interfered with mental health. The pandemic isn't gone, many people are still dealing with mental health issues.

You don't hear from them unless you're on social media. It has become 'the talking hub.'

The CP Diary

My blog, The CP Diary, breaks down the barriers to mental health. It is essential to talk about and deal with your mental health.

There are advancements in mental health treatment, such as cognitive behavioural therapy, which allows individuals to develop coping mechanisms and identify negative thought patterns.

There is still stigma around mental health

However, there is still a stigma surrounding mental health, and many individuals are hesitant to seek help or speak out about their mental health struggles. It is crucial for society to continue to break down these barriers and make mental health a priority. Mental health is an essential aspect of overall health and wellbeing.

Be honest about your struggles

It is important to be open and honest about our struggles and seek help when needed. We need to be able to continue to maintain good mental health and also normalise the conversation about mental health in society.
