Mental Health isn't fashionable and it needs to be. If it was fashionable, it would be something we would indulge in, talk about, like breathing, like eating, like exercising, the things we don't think about but just do, it would be considered the norm.

Mental Health - it's important to act

I talk about mental health and continue to talk about it on my blog, The CP Diary, because it's good for my health. I act on my mental health. But while it isn't fashionable, it's not something people openly talk about. Like a disability, mental health also carries a stigma, it is important to talk about it.

Make Mental Health Fashionable, Make It Happen, Make It Better and make it count.

Mental Health is necessary for physical health

To have long-term good health, and so that we can function normally, we should be dealing with mental health, we all should. Good mental health is necessary, because without it, it will be difficult to stay physically well and to lead a normal healthy life.

In our busy lives, keeping up with mental health can be difficult, but what is even more difficult, is having to deal with illness and/or a terminal illness the other end, when we fail to talk about how we feel.

Work on 'Mental Health'

We may feel 'down' from time to time. We can't always be on top of our game and that's okay. But we need to continue to work on mental health, so that we can live successful lives with more ease.

  1. Boy, if that isn't so true. I've spent most of my life being ashamed of my mental health issues. I grew up in a world where those issues were taboo!

It was like what Prince Harry said in his interview, "Never Complain, Never Explain"! I think it's finally time to break those barriers.

    1. There is no need for you to be ashamed Randy and thanks for pointing that out. It is certainly time for the world to break down those barriers and bring mental health to the table.

We are seeing more illness now than we have ever seen, with 1 in 2 people getting cancer. It is time to deal with mental health. The pandemic shows us we cannot rely on living our lives, pre-pandemic. The old ways can't work.

It really is time to step up. My blog can show you how.
