Talking is an important element of your relationship with yourself. It is important to open-up, to talk about how you feel, your feelings and your experiences. It is important to talk about what doesn’t feel right.

Talking in the pandemic

In the pandemic, it has become even more important that we talk about things, that we deal with our emotions, which most of the time we put on the back burner. We generally don't talk about things.

As we go about our lives we generally don't think about or tap into our emotions. It took me a good while to start the process myself.

Through my blog, I talk about how I feel and without judgment. I have a disability but that doesn’t define me, instead my writing defines me. My writing helps me mentally and emotionally cope with my life and come to terms with what I have had to deal with, what I deal with now.

My books give clarity

It is in these times we all need clarity, my books give clarity. We all need support, my books give support. We all need direction, my books give direction. We all need understanding, my books also give understanding.

We're not really living and we need to cope mentally and emotionally. My books Cerebral Palsy: A Story ‘Finding the Calm After the Storm’ and ‘Spirituality, Healing and Me’ are both perfect for these times.

My Books are inclusive

Throughout these times, it is important to stay inclusive. My books don’t just help me… they help us all to stay inclusive. They show us a different way to live, a different way to be.

  1. Looking after our mental health isn't something we do when we are struggling, but should be part of our everyday lives such as exercising and eating a balanced diet.

If I was in charge, I'd make your books part of school's essential reading. The benefits of children learning and understanding spirituality, at an early age of the benefits of expression and living a spiritual life would be enormous.

That isn't going to happen anytime soon so the next best thing is for everyone to buy your book instead - I mean why wouldn't you? It's got everything.

    1. I know what's gone into my books and how they can change our thinking and our lives and I would too.

My books, based on the universal understandings are written in a way that brings truth to every word, to every page and every chapter.

Our mental and emotional health is the most important thing we have. In Covid-19 it has become even more important. It is important to keep on top of your mental and emotional health.

Personally, I have always picked up non-fiction, self help books, but never have any been written in this way. I can't force anyone to pick up or buy my books, I can only hope that people will.
