As a child, I innately knew there was something that connected us to the universe, but it was in my early twenties that I began to grasp the universal understanding of how we are all connected to everything in the universe, and to each other.

'The Universal Understanding'

The universal understanding means 'relating to, or characteristic of all or the whole: universal experience, applicable everywhere or in all cases; general: a universal cure, affecting, concerning, or involving all.' – Dictionary.com

I write from a ‘universal standpoint,' which means what I write relates to and affects each of us. My writing connects each of us.

Cerebral Palsy: ‘A Story’ may be based on my experiences, but my truths are based on universal truths. It shows that I write from a place of knowing, the universal facts and it's not something I just make up.

In the early years, although I couldn't see or hear words, thoughts would often pop into my mind. It was only when I started my blog that I was able to put some of those thoughts into context.

Our lessons based on universal understanding

In the book, I use my experiences and lessons to create inspiring messages about mental and physical health, positivity, resilience and change.
