As a young adult, I used to see the passing of someone as a final gesture, not something that was an extension of where they had already come from: the spirit world.

Before we’re born into this life, we come from spirit and have lived other lives. As we prepare to say our goodbyes, those waiting to make the transition go back to the spirit world and live a life parallel to ours.

Death that seems taboo to some and final to others, should be neither. Where their life is complete this side of life, they continue their lives in spirit, just not here with us.

  1. Yes, I believe there is another life awaiting us. A better life, not that this one has been bad but something better awaits us.

I also believe that our loved ones do live on and around us, protecting us at times and giving us comfort. They definitely are in our hearts, forever to live there.

My family and I send our deepest condolences to you and your family.

I agree with what you said about someone's passing being an extension of life. I too think they are connected in several ways.

The Loved always find a way to make their presence known in our lives. It's a wonderful thing and reassuring in many ways as well.

    1. Thanks LeAnna. I agree with you. It's definitely a reassuring process to believe that loved ones who pass have a constant presence in our lives.

I totally believe in the concept that both of my parents will be around me now, just not with me. This is why I'm not struggling through the bereavement process. It is very reassuring.
