Ingredients:
(makes 3–4 servings)
2 cups old-fashioned rolled oats
2 tablespoons packed brown sugar
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
A pinch of salt
1 ½ cups whole or 2% milk
2 medium peaches
Greek yogurt (optional, for topping)
Method:
In a mixing bowl, combine oats, brown sugar, cinnamon, and salt
Pit and dice one peach, then stir it into the oat mixture
Pour in the milk and stir until everything is well mixed
Divide the mixture evenly into three jars, cover, and refrigerate overnight or for up to four days
When ready to eat, dice the second peach and add it on top of each jar along with a dollop of Greek yogurt
Variations and Tips:
Sweetener swaps: Brown sugar gives a rich sweetness, but you can substitute with maple syrup, honey, or agave nectar if preferred
Milk choices: Your choice
Whole or 2% for creaminess, fat-free for a lighter version, or dairy-free options like oat or soy milk
Add-ins: Boost nutrition and texture by stirring in chia seeds
(add a little extra milk to compensate) or chopped nuts before refrigerating
