  1. This quote says to me that we shouldn't worry about tomorrow. We should tackle things one day at a time and deal with what's going on now.

The future will happen and we will handle it the same as we handle the present. My mom always told me not to worry about tomorrow. I should handle things one day at a time.

    1. Thanks Lisa. Very wise words from a very wise mum. My mum used to say there's no point putting off tomorrow what you can do today.

I think that surmounts to the same thing.

  2. I think we'll embrace the future if we see hope and potential for progress in our lives; otherwise the future will be suspect.

I interpret the weapons of reason to be preparation and a belief in a higher power to help guide us into the unknown, the inevitable.

    1. Thanks Tim. Hope and potential would certainly make things easier for us to make progress of course.

I have always believed there is a higher power that guides us, but not everyone has an understanding of how that works. In an ideal world we would all see hope and potential, but we cannot give up even if we don't have that.

We have to find ways forward so that we do make progress and move forward.

  3. I live life one day at a time, it has worked to quit drinking and hopefully will work on my quitting smoking.

    1. Thanks Brian. It's absolutely the way to do it. You've managed to tackle one problem successfully; I'm sure you'll do the same with the other.

With determination and a will to succeed Brian I'm sure you will. Good luck.
