A passing thought:

Did you know that when we're calm so is our nervous system? Too much concentration can make us tired, so remember to take a mental break. A break away from our desks, from work, from all the mental clutter associated with work.

Take a walk or relax with a hot drink. We should make a point of listening to our body that way we will always be aware of what is best for us and what's best for our body. It will also enable us to clear our minds so that our thoughts are fresh and new.

When the mind is clear, we go on to make better choices.

  1. This is such good advice. I think we often forget to take time out for ourselves.

Whenever I take a break at work it clears my mind so that when I return to the job i was doing it gets done more clearly and efficiently.

  2. I will take a cold drink today. Hot and humid here where I live in Canada.

    Good post today as always.

  3. Taking a mental break is always a good thing. I know it's a good idea to take time out to just clear your head from all the chaos.

I think I'll just take a cold soda and enjoy it while trying not to think too much about anything too stressful.

    1. I think you're right Randy. Taking time out mentally does help us clear our heads from chaos! Hope you got to enjoy your cold soda.
