Watching anyone fight a terminal illness is difficult, even more so when it’s your twin. Mental health comes in many guises and is something we should all be working on to better our mental health.
I deal with mental health issues. We all deal with mental health issues. I write more about mental health because it's our biggest challenge and our biggest threat and still we ignore it. I will never stop writing about mental health.
The world is different, we have all changed and mental health is waiting in the wings. It's being ignored. I have cerebral palsy and deal with autism, I have anxiety and consequently struggle with mental health issues. It’s why I write about it so much, to also get the reader interested in supporting their own mental health.
For those who you who don't know what anxiety is, it's a type of fear, associated with a thought of a threat, something that may go wrong, but it is also a fear of something happening in the ‘here and now.’
We know what is happening in the world, but instead things are ignored, disregarded as though things are happening to a pro-type of us.
A gentle reminder... mental Health is: “A state of emotional and psychological well-being in which an individual is able to use his or her cognitive and emotional capabilities, function in society, and meet the ordinary demands of everyday life.” - Will you take action to deal with your mental health?
In my book, ‘Spirituality, Healing and Me’ I share the tools and lessons I've learned that help me navigate times of uncertainty. It's a book you'll want to go back to repeatedly. Why not follow the link to order your copy ... linktr.ee/Ilana_Estelle
