Having spoken to someone who decided not to take the Covid-19 vaccine, it's clear why the vaccine isn't a good fit, for everyone. The person I was speaking to was clear about why he chose not to take the vaccine.
Whilst everyone is entitled to make their own decisions on the vaccine, which may not sit well with others, we all have a right to make our own choice. For those not taking the Covid vaccine, it’s not a decision they will have taken lightly.
Where the vaccine acts as a protection, you can still catch Covid-19. Seemingly well people without pre-existing conditions who have taken the vaccine, have caught the virus. Cases are continuing.
Side effects to the Covid-19 vaccine
There is a heart inflammation link (myocarditis) and an inflammation of the fluid-filled (the sac the heart sits in, known as pericarditis), which is linked to both the Pfizer and Moderna jabs. (Source: https://www.bbc.co.uk) For some it's a risk they would rather not take.
Both side effects will now officially be listed by the UK and Europe, mirroring the same move by regulators in the US last month. There are many more side effects associated with the Covid-19 vaccine. People's misery doesn't end there. Many of their side effects are long-lasting.
Our careful interactions
But with or without the vaccine, we all still need to be careful about interactions and how far we get back into our life, because with or without the vaccine, we can still catch Covid-19 and Long-Covid.
