I think a little bit of despondency has set in today. The operation to remove 6 lesions last Friday was mostly successful. I think a lot of my thoughts are here on the back of this.
When I’m up and about, I’ll probably feel different again, but I need to allow myself this time to reflect, so I don’t ignore how I feel. My life’s never been easy on all fronts, but having muddled through for so many years, you’d think I’d be used to it by now.
One of my lesions isn’t healing well and my concern is that infection is setting in. It’s a little difficult to heal because it’s in such an awkward place. It will be just under a week since the operation and I’m back in hospital today to have the stitches on my face taken out, so I will speak to the specialist then.
I’m not unduly worried about the stitches coming out because they’re tiny and right now I need to focus on my other problem. I hope the specialist will have another thought on how to solve the wound not healing. I’m not thinking doom and gloom, but I can't seem to see a way forward. Everything I have tried so far has failed.
We took some advice from the Pharmacist yesterday, who said I needed to keep the wound dry and covered, so I have now put another dressing back on. Today I’ll work on some more Homeopathic remedies. For now I’m resting and staying calm.
I am sure that everything will be okay today and that the one persistent little sucker will heal just fine.
I'm sure eventually it will be fine. I have no worries there.
I'm thinking of you with positive thoughts and prayers. I hope things heal better and you bounce back soon.
Thanks Lisa.
You will be just fine. You have dealt with CP. This will be a 'walk-in-the-park.'
Lovely to have you on site. Thanks Bill, I know you're right... thank you for posting.
Just to be on the safe side I would show it to the doctor.
A pharmacy person knows what to do better than a doctor sometimes. I am sure you will be fine. Try to stay calm that will help.
Thanks Randy. I'm doing calm.
Hopefully you will start healing up better as soon as possible. It is very frustrating when a wound isn't healing like it should be. I'm sure you'll make it over this hump!
Thanks Randy.
