  1. So true. My patience is better than it used to be. I was the most impatient person I know, especially when I was a teenager. Going to doctor appointments was the worst. Having to wait forever in the waiting room got on my last nerve and I of course embarrassed my mother by showing everybody how impatient I was.

Now though it doesn't really bother me to sit and wait. I get a break and get to rest a little. If there is something I want to do and having to wait on someone else gets to me a little.

I have been disappointed a few times in my life, but the disappointments aren't so bad. I have learned to live with disappointment because I have experienced it so much in the past. I think the worst is being disappointed in myself for not having my dreams happen like school. I was very disappointed with that situation.

    1. I think you're right Lisa, disappointments aren't so bad. They're all learning curves. With experience and maturity, we learn how to deal with some of those disappointments along the way without giving up.

I think sometimes we have to go through these kind of experiences to come through the other end with a better understanding of why we've perhaps failed and how we can turn our experience round to bring about success in the future on something else.

  2. So true. Patience and courage are two important aspects of our lives that we don't readily understand, unless we really want to.

  3. I can identify with this quotation because patience is a virtue, it helps to promote calm in stressful situations. The courage not to be disappointed by what I encounter has been particularly challenging for me lately.

This blog has been helpful in a significant way.

    1. Thanks Tim. I agree. Patience does helps to promote calm in stressful situations. Patience also enables us to stand back and look at what we're dealing with objectively so that we're better equipped to make better decisions.

I am pleased this quote helped you today.
