Illness tends to bring out the worst in people, particularly for those with the illness and for the people who have to deal with those dealing with illness.

Illness doesn’t make anything easy, those times can be very stressful. With a good night’s sleep, I’m hoping we’ll all be back on form tomorrow.

Of course, it’s that time of year again, so for anyone dealing with illness with either the cold or flu, I hope you feel better soon.

  1. Looking after people who are sick is never easy. Make sure you look after you as well so you don't get ill.

  2. Illness does seem to bring out the worst in people, some more than others.

First off they feel bad and secondly probably don't feel like messing with anyone, but that doesn't give them cause to be abusive and mean.

The world doesn't stop moving on just because we're ill. Life goes on anyway.

    1. You're right Randy, it's not easy. I am doing my best to keep myself well though... thank you for your concerns.

  3. A lot of people don't handle being sick very well and tend to make it difficult on the people who are trying to take care of them.

I guess I'm just an odd one, since when I'm sick I actually prefer to be left alone and not be bothered with!

Hopefully things will get better for you with a good night's sleep.

    1. I agree with you. I don't think that's odd Randy, it's being fussed over that makes us want to be left alone!

I know from my own experience I cope better emotionally when I give myself time to work through being ill. To have that time we need space, so being left alone would seem to me to be quite helpful.
