Something inspirational:

"It is a common characteristic of human nature that a man sees the faults of others more easily than he sees his own. At the same time on the path of self-study he learns that he himself possesses all the faults that he finds in others. In order to see himself in other people's faults and not merely to see the faults of others, a man must be very sincere with himself."

  1. I can see this happening. We all find fault with others, but how many of us will see the same fault within ourselves?

I've heard it said before, we see the fault in others because we don't like to admit that we are perhaps at fault.

    1. I totally agree with you Lisa.

It's human nature to pin the blame on others first, before we'll admit that perhaps we may be to blame! It would certainly make for better relationships if we didn't.

  2. Well, like they say in AA, if someone's behavior is bothering you, it usually means that you have that problem yourself. It has taken me a very long time to get a clue that it's usually pretty accurate.

Now if I can just learn to stay focused on my own issues and not worry about other people's issues, I would be much better off in the long run.
