It becomes obvious when someone doesn't have your back because they have their own; because everything they do is based around their ego personalities.
Today, it has become a priority for each of us to see beyond the UK Government’s rhetoric, to make better decisions so that we can move forward with our lives with a little more ease, based on our own wants and needs.
Lowered Mental Health
The whole Brexit and Covid-19 issue is a struggle for many. Mental health is in its boots, but we're not owning up to how we really feel. So far, the decisions that have been made aren't sitting comfortably with the universe and how it expects us to behave.
A parent playing one child against another, is exactly what is happening with the UK Government. It's happening in society, and in our personal lives. Brexit and Covid-19 have changed us. I’ve heard it said many times in the media, people are divided in their opinions.
Divisions in Covid-19
Those who are vaccinated now have no tolerance for those who have chosen not to take the vaccination because they're struggling with it, it's not in their best interest, or they think it's a gamble too far. However much we think we are entitled to an opinion, it’s not up to others to form an opinion, or them make others feel bad about their decision, but it is important to continue to stay safe.
Moving forward precautionary measures for each of us need to continue. It is clear yet again the UK Prime Minister has done another of his backtracks to save his integrity. Aren’t you tired of the ‘tooing and throwing’ of the decisions being made to suit their brief?
Continual u-turns
Through their many u-turns, it's clear they don’t have our backs, only their own. Now how do you feel? I know how I feel.
I know how you feel and I could rant for a very long time about how the UK Government is handling the pandemic and we all do deserve better.
I read today that while we were under lockdown restrictions last Christmas, which meant I couldn't see my children, as they live in an area subject to travel restrictions, the UK cabinet were living it up at a Christmas party.
It says it all really.
Thanks. Yes, well I didn't start my blog to bring politics into it, but when you live with autism and you continue to struggle with anxiety as part of your autism diagnosis, you're left with no choice.
My mental and emotional health is important and I need to feel better. Writing about these things makes me feel better. You couldn't make this up, but when you work and put your own rules in place, this is what you have.
As servants and in the political sphere politicians should be working on behalf of the electorate. There is political bias and hidden agendas, all of which affect us, but none of which seem to matter to them.
So, yes we all deserve better. Although there are many who talk of no real opposition, there is no excuse voting a party in who have no regard for the population of the people they're meant to protect and serve.
