“We need to heal to see others healed.” – Ilana Estelle

Many of us may go through life and never heal, primarily because we don't think we need to. That's usually for others. But those who are not healed, will only see people through their own unhealed eyes.

If you’re stuck at first base, you will never admit or acknowledge others have healed. If someone is healed, I may call that out, in the same way if someone isn’t healed, I may call that out also.

My Healing Energy

I am a healing energy. Since my twin died in December last year and 6 months prior to her death, through trauma, my healing energy has become less and less. After my twin died, I was diagnosed with Eagle Syndrome and then diagnosed with a swollen mouth ligament after months of facial and tooth pain.

Working on trauma

Nine months into my twin's passing, and I am still having to work through trauma, working on getting back to full health. And while I cannot change the clock on bringing her back, all I can do is find understanding and that is what I am trying to do.

Clarity

I have always brought clarity through understanding. Through understanding I bring acceptance, through understanding I hope to to bring closure. I think if more of us had understanding, acceptance, we would heal and would have the ability to see others healed also.

When it comes to healing, the reality is that no matter how much we go through the process ourselves, those in our lives who aren’t healed will never accept or see that we are healed.
