  1. I believe this. When we change, everything else changes. When we change for the good everything else will get better. Our relationships and our lives.

If we change for the worse things will only get worse. I've changed my life for the best and everything is so much better, especially my relationships and I'm happier with myself.

  2. I would agree to disagree that everything will change only if we changed ourselves. I wish it were that simple.

Constructive change in the broadest sense will bring positive results, but it won't change everything.

    1. Thanks Tim. I can only speak from my own experience of course, but I believe there is truth in this quote and can see your side.

As long as our perceptions are positive on the way we do things, we will become more positive, just by its very nature. When we become more positive we will find positive ways to change the things we have to deal with and that should make the outcome more positive.

Even if we can't change everything, with a positive attitude we give ourselves the opportunity to deal with and change things for the positive and it's those positive changes that will change us eventually.

I am not the same person I was all those years ago. Changing myself has changed everything. The hard part is others close to us understanding we've changed and that's not easy for them to deal with.

  3. I agree with this quote. If something isn't working maybe a change in mindset will help.

It will at least give you a sense that you have tried to better something, than to just sit back and expect it to change (which rarely happens).
