Ilana Estelle is a mental health and wellbeing advocate who combines educational insight with her personal experience of living with physical, mental, and emotional disabilities.
She holds diplomas in Counselling, Diet and Nutrition, Nutritional Therapy, Psychotherapy and Counselling, and Stress Management. Through her writing, Ilana supports others in navigating their emotional, mental, and physical health challenges.
In addition to writing for The CP Diary, her work has appeared in healthy lifestyle magazines.

Thanks Tim. Yes, there's a lot we may look back on, some of it in disbelief, some of it in anger, some of it with fond memories.
I personally believe we all get the perfect childhood. Outside, extended family influences, will and do change the way we see and deal with life.
I do think through insight we can smile at our pain and humiliation, we mature, we grow, and we can begin to see our lives differently.
It is also important to put the work in. Without that I am not sure we are fully healed. I work from insight and I've also had to put the hard work in.
As we age, we give our circumstances a disgusting smirk, simply because we're beyond it.
If we look through the eyes of insight, we simply smile at our pain and humiliation.
We play this game, but it's from comfortable a distance.
