  1. Boy, if that isn't the truth. Everybody is always looking for their soulmate, which I think must be a term coined by Hallmark, because it doesn't seem to exist,a s far as finding your perfect partner.

Nobody is perfect, so therefore finding that perfect person would be pretty much impossible. I haven't even considered it, as I just settled for whoever came along, thanks to the world I grew up in, so I don't understand that mentality.

It's a foreign concept to me, since I don't often consider what would be right for me, instead of everyone else. I'm sitting here right now trying to imagine it and I don't have a clue as to how to accomplish doing this.

My world seems to narrow down to a pinpoint and has become exactly like 'groundhog day' where the circumstances may change, but the day keeps repeating itself, with no real end in sight.

I have a person who I would consider to be my soulmate, waiting for me out there in the world, but I can't seem to find the courage needed to just walk away from a relationship that is beyond toxic.

I'm confused right now and exhausted beyond belief from not sleeping well, that it's no wonder I can't think straight which I need to do right now.

It does seem like I'm more afraid of actually being happy rather than just existing, which is the reason many people end up committing suicide, because it isn't living by any means.

In the end all I want is to be that right person who does the right thing, when it's the right thing to do, and is a decent human being.

    1. Thanks Randy. Yes, doing the right thing is looking after your own needs first. If that means you having to make changes, then that is what you need to do.

As they say, "it's better to come from a broken home, than live in one." Doing the right thing still makes you decent, even if what you're doing isn't right for someone else.

Doing what's right for you is the right thing to do.

  2. Amazing, is what I said to my computer, while reading this exquisite piece of wisdom. So true, so true indeed!

    1. Thanks Tim. Yes, amazing is about right. Noe we must make it happen. Just imagine how much more secure the world would be if we were 'the right people.'

It's not difficult to do. We have to want to change and be more giving, tolerant, patient, compassionate and empathetic.

    1. Thank you. Yes, we need to be right, not to be right for right's sake because others are wrong, and we can only be right.

But we must work on making sure our lives are right and therefore we're right with ourselves.
