Something inspirational:

“Make it a rule of life never to regret and never to look back. Regret is an appalling waste of energy; you can’t build on it; it’s only good for wallowing.”

  1. This is a timely quote for us all having just gone into a new year. It is actually spot on. Regret doesn't achieve anything, all it does is reinforce negativity.

There are a lot of things I could look back on with regret but instead, I am going to try and look forward, rather than backwards.

    1. Forward is good, but we cannot move forward without being aware of what lurks in our past and dealing with those issues.

Also, without coming to terms with our past, we can't live our future successfully. The past will always be present.
