Something inspirational:
Always start your day by seeing it as a positive new day. Try not to see your new day as an extension of your previous one that will only serve to make you more depressed, particularly if your day didn’t go well.
If you're day went well, start your new day on the same footing. Introduce your day with a new thought that will inspire you. See how your new thought energises you, brightens up your approach to life.
Put extra energy into being positive and you’ll soon notice a big difference.
Great Topic. I also find if I try to stop negative thoughts from entering my head it helps. Anything to stop the negative thoughts are good. I find also having a day just for yourself will do wonders for your mood. Not everyone can do that but just an idea. Just do something in your day for you.
I totally agree with you Randy. 'Me' time is very important. It shows others that you are totally at one with yourself. That's my passion, I just love my own company. Thanks for commenting.
I totally agree! Being positive is very important to how you feel each and every day... and starting the day anew is a positive thing to do.
Absolutely.
I completely agree with this but often times it becomes very hard to put into practice and can take an extra conscious effort. However, I do believe that it is worth it.
I totally agree with your sentiments here LeAnna, it can be difficult given what we all deal with, but not to would put us in a much worse place. It would be worth the effort to push through those boundaries! Nice to see you back.
I wake up full of positive energy and looking forward to taking on the day.
I admit this isn't how it always has been for me. I used to be just the opposite and don't miss the old me. I feel that living in the present and letting the past stay where it belongs, lends me the opportunity to have a life of meaning.
How you were Brian, isn't that all important now. What is important is your attitude to where you are in your life, right now. All the right ingredients for a 'life of meaning," as you so eloquently suggest.
This is so timely as it is Thanksgiving here in Canada. Our family had a great get together on Saturday, 10 in all. It makes you stop and give thanks for the things we do have in our lives. Great weather too!
It is nice that you had a good time with your family Randy. Thanksgiving can make the time with family more special.
I'm always thankful for another day of life. And I thank God for it. I may feel crappy but still I'm alive for another day!
Not sure about the crappy bit Lisa! I think if we have our health living another day is wonderful, especially being with those we love, but without our health it's not so easy for us to manage...
