  1. The idea of compromising my values is just too ridicules to entertain. But people make the decision to it, perhaps oblivious to the fact that the devil is standing by the door waiting.

    The probability of escaping from yourself after that is pretty rare.

    1. Thanks Tim. Yes, there needs to be more people who think as you do.

      What we're seeing being played out on the global stage is too ridiculous to think about, or entertain. Yet that is what we have to endure.

      I agree with you, no one escapes from themselves, but it doesn't stop people trying. If more of us understood how important it was to live by our values, we would have less stress and a more peaceful existence.

  2. Great little quote. We should all be open to change, but positive change which doesn't require us to prostitute ourselves in the process.

    We must question our motives and make sure our fundamental values of respect and compassion remain intact in any decision.

    1. Agreed. It's sad that through change few will hold on to fundamental values of respect and compassion.

      We just have to look out there into the world to see how that has worked out.
