  1. One of many lessons I learned was that I had to learn the hard way. There were many times where I reacted to situations based on my feelings right at that moment and the results were usually disastrous.

    I grew up in a world where that was considered normal, so it's no wonder I kept repeating the same things, time after time. Insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results, which I know I'm guilty of!

    I'm trying very hard to do things differently now. I am ultimately responsible for my actions and my life has become so much better now.

    1. Thanks Randy. Yes, we learn the hard way, but at least we learn.

      I think you're right, many people react to situations based on how they feel at that time, and not how they may feel once they're through that situation.

      We tend not to think that far ahead. In fact, it is only when we look back in hindsight that we know and we can see how we could have handled that situation better.
