You may have read on my blog about my personal circumstances around my twin who is terminally ill. I am still trying to work on writing and getting blogs out there and shall continue, but my head's not quite in the zone. I will also try to get my recipe out by the end of the month.

Any terminal illness, puts strain and stress on the family unit as a whole. As everyone tries to cope with the enormity of the illness, there is a vast array of emotions everyone has to cope with and quickly.

Around a terminal illness particularly, things are said. It's the nature of a terminal illness, and it is important to cut each other slack. But it’s not just a terminal illness, these times are difficult, Covid-19 has put a strain on relationships with family losing loved ones, in very difficult circumstances. These are extraordinary and difficult times. Be kind and caring.

So, while things are uncertain, and in the next few days, I shall put out a few extra inspirational quotes, while I continue to try to cope. I am hoping that will change with the strength of me continuing to write, to get my thoughts out there.

Wherever you find yourself, whatever you do, be kind, caring and supportive to one another. Life is short, you never know what is around the corner. I hope you have a good week. For everyone going through similar circumstances, my thoughts are with you too.

  1. It is difficult to accept life exactly like it is, in fact it's downright painful.

Yet, in your time of grief, you choose to enrich your readers with reason and comfort, softly preparing them for the inevitable in their lives.

There is no escaping your karma, it will be beautiful. We are here for you, Ilana.

    1. Thanks Tim for your beautiful words. I am more than happy to accept your words, so that I may have less struggle. Yes, without my twin in my life, I am not sure how my life will look, or how I will cope with moving forward without her.

Truthfully, I have found life difficult, and I have had a difficult life. If I can pave the way and make it easier for my readers, if I can bring understanding into my readers' lives, then I am happy to do it.

My writing brings me comfort and understanding. It helps me carve out a better existence, for others too, as long as they want to help themselves. It also helps me to get my thoughts out there. I hope my readers will reciprocate and support. These are difficult times, the road ahead has become more difficult for us all to navigate.

A human failing is when we simply choose to ignore, not to engage and that inevitably makes our life harder. My blog and books are here to help pave the way. If you can make it easier for yourself, why wouldn't you choose to do it?
