It's now 11 years into my unofficial diagnosis and I still think about my disability and how I got to this place. There is never a day go by where I'm not thinking about how I lived my life without knowing about my disability, trying to understand the non-reasoning behind what happened to me.

My non-disability is difficult to reconcile

My non-disability is difficult to reconcile. At times impossible to reconcile. Where I think I have come to terms with it, I'm back at square one. Right now, blogging about my experiences, hasn't cleared the decks on how I got to this place. But it's probably still too raw, to be honest.

As a parent, I never turned my back on my children's emotional needs. It's an impossible understanding, something I may never come to terms with, but I shall continue to work on that.

Intuition and understanding

If it wasn’t for my intuition, I would never have come to understand the reasoning behind what happened to me. That’s the thing about being intuitive. Being intuitive helps you to see the whole, as opposed to half of something.

Being an 'intuitive'

An intuitive knows there is more than meets the eye. They also know the reasoning may never be explained to them directly in their lifetime, but they come to understand their circumstances through being able to see the whole.

Being intuitive I have become aware of the messages I am being conveyed by the universe. Without being an intuitive, I would never have come to know about my life without relying on its messages.

Conclusion

For the first time, it's given me an understanding of my disability and of my symptoms, which I have been able to write about. It has enabled me to catch up with my life. I cannot put a price on that.

  1. You must feel both relieved and elated having twisted away from the grip of your past. That powerful sadness has come to an end.

So I am not wrong to consider the possibility that you are en route to becoming a worldwide famous author. There it is Ilana, I said it.

    1. Thank you. Yes, to both of your points, I agree and I hope so, not because I'm greedy or big headed, because it's not my way, but I believe my book will help those people who care about their emotional and mental health.

I know how much my blog helps me. Publishing in a pandemic isn't easy, and as my publisher has said it is 'the perfect book for Covid19 and beyond.'

I have come across a lot of self-help books, but never one that is based on universal and intuitive understanding on our experiences, or how we can live our lives better.

I am looking forward to having my second book published next year.

  2. By believing in what is possible you have shown positive beliefs are more powerful than negative.

Your final paragraph sums this up well and you're understanding knows no bounds.
