To be more curious, means we have to be curious. Are you ever curious? When were you last curious and absorbed in new learning? We’re in our lives, yet we’re more tired and stressed than we’ve ever been.

In the pandemic, our lives have changed. The world has changed, and we need to change with it, to keep pace with what is happening out there.

Curiosity helps us change

Through curiosity, we can change our life in a broken world, us wanting to learn about how we can make things better, means we we can change our words, we can be more tolerant, we can be kinder and more caring.

Climate change and pollution

Climate change and pollution is happening and we should keep pace with both. We should educate ourselves, and that brings a change in understanding and a change in attitude. The world needs our attention. Where there is uncertainty, there are struggles. Where there are struggles, it has become even more important to work together.

It is also because these changes have become so significant, that we become more curious. When you're curious, you have a desire to learn and to want to know and that means attitudes and decisions can change, which means you can live better lives.

From an early age, I was always questioning the unquestionable. I never took anything at face value. I was an inquisitive child, where things didn’t feel right, I would continue to question.

Question the unquestionable

Throughout the pandemic, I have continued to question the unquestionable, particularly around decisions that the UK government are making that are 'supposed to be in our best interest.’ There are others on social media also questioning the unquestionable. Becoming more curious needs to happen if we are to live our lives with limited stress.

Not to question is to accept the life we have and that only works, if it’s a life that fits. In the last 2 years, decisions being taken by the UK government aren’t in our best interest. The UK government's decision to lift all restrictions on the 24th February, are going to leave the vulnerable isolated.

It is important to continue to question

Even if we can't change what it is that needs to be changed, it is important to question, it's how you learn. I'm glad it's not just me... Hugh Grant is endorsing an anti-Boris Johnson protest that is taking place in London today. (Source: https://www.independent.co.uk)

  1. If we accept we are all lifelong learners, then curiosity and open-mindedness follows.

Your blogs feed our curiosity and show us that we can't afford to take things for granted, and the need to question and wonder and that is why to me they are as important as breakfast.

    1. Thank you... without curiosity we stagnate and allow others to take control of our lives and that's not great or helpful.

What we're seeing in the UK government is not in our best interests. I have heard from friends over the pond, and they're not doing much better.

From an early age I have always been curious/inquisitive and thank god. It is important to put your own slant on your life.

If my experiences have shown and taught me one thing, it's that the gut should never be challenged or a challenge. If something doesn't feel right, it's because it's not.

Question, be curious, find understanding and change. My blogs as you refer to in your response to my 'blog' show the other side of what change looks like, all verified and certified by the universe.

Yes, they together with 'my books' are as important as 'breakfast'. My books can change lives.
