The more we align ourselves through the principles of 'spiritual healing,' the less we risk being mis-aligned with the purpose of life. Spiritual healing addresses illness, disharmony and dis-ease.
Spiritual and Emotional Growth
Spiritual healing, healing of the mind, the body and soul, goes beyond medical treatment. It allows for spiritual and emotional growth, physical cures, intellectual expansion and other potential interventions. Spiritual Healing requires us to dig deep into why we may have pain or depression, or anything else we have that we’re dealing with.
Spiritual Healing v Western Medicine
It is the opposite of western medicine, which focuses on curing people through pharmaceuticals, and other medical interventions. But long-term reliance on western medicine, will if continued for any length of time, inhibit healing, creating a certain dependence and reliance on treatment, and may create additional illness and disease. For example, antibacterial medications can create an imbalance in the gut.
Stamp out toxic behaviour
We should stamp out toxic behaviour, behaviour that harms spiritual growth. Spiritual healing addresses emotional, mental, physical and spiritual toxins. It is important to get rid of toxins that undermine the soul. When issues are addressed, we can mentally, emotionally and spiritually heal.
Issues grow and hold us back
It is the issues we accumulate over the years that hold us back; they are the reason for our toxins; they are also the reason we may fail to emotionally and spiritually grow.

I am Muhammad Ali when it comes to stamping out toxic behavior. But I know that my mind is my master and only spiritual healing can truly free me.
Blogs like this keep me on my toes. Thank you, Ilana.
Thanks Tim. It's blogs like this one that reminds me why being spiritual works. Over the years it has helped me overcome many things.
Toxic behaviour isn't easy to stamp out, it takes willpower and a determination to turn our back on traits that we accumulate over the years. We have to want to give up toxic traits.
Through my own experiences, through my writing I show how we can move on. These are my spiritual beliefs. Yes, Muhammad Ali was a great inspiration. I can see why you have made the analogy.
