I must stay motivated and positive so that I keep any negative thoughts at bay. I am keeping myself busy and that’s helping me shift any negative thoughts.

I'm not a negative person by nature and tend to stay upbeat and positive, so I am trying to stay motivated and positive. I tend to look at what I have and know I have a lot to be grateful for.

I also tend to keep my goals small and more manageable. Keeping them small cuts them down to size so that I am able to cope. I tend to work through one challenge at a time, so that I don’t have a complete mental block on everything I deal with.

When I was a child my mum used to try to get me to think about other things when I had bad thoughts. Sadly, none of it worked. Being away from negativity and having my own independence and my own life has helped that paradox.

My perceptions are constantly changing. I see I have much to be grateful for and that helps me focus on staying positive and staying positive helps me take away any negative thoughts.
