She holds diplomas in Counselling, Diet and Nutrition, Nutritional Therapy, Psychotherapy and Counselling, and Stress Management. Through her writing, Ilana supports others in navigating their emotional, mental, and physical health challenges.

I know that dealing with Cerebral Palsy has always been my biggest bugbear. I didn't know Helen Keller was deaf or blind until I came across her quote.
With the right support I believe we can all come to terms with what we deal with. From her quote it sounds as though, although it was part of her, it wasn't something she was defined by.
Her work became her trade mark, rather than her disability.
